Memory Care

THE MEMORY CARE SECTION of Skylark is a total residential care program for people with memory disorders, including Alzheimer's disease, stroke and Parkinson's related dementia.

With tenderness and affection, our professional care staff builds strong relationships with our residents. Our continual employee training exceeds state-mandated minimums, particularly in the sensitive area of staff-resident interactions.  We utilize the concepts of Best Friends Training program.

Personal attention, an active social schedule and our home-like environment contribute to rich, full days for our residents.

Memory Care Apartments

MEMORY CARE APARTMENTS at Skylark we have private and semi-private floor plans with walk-in showers in the bathrooms. Housekeeping, linen, and laundry services are included with each apartment. As with all our apartments, resident's families  may decorate and furnish their apartments as they please.

Each resident receives three freshly prepared meals served family style each day. Total personal care and medication management in a home-like environment plus a variety of daily activities help Skylark's Memory Care residents feel loved, safe and secure.
